Argentina's mining exports hit record $6 billion in 2025

Argentina's mining exports totaled $6.037 billion in 2025, the highest value on record for the sector, the economy ministry said on Friday.

* Mining exports rose 29.2% compared with the prior year, the ministry said in a statement.

* Gold led the way with an all-time high $4.078 billion in exports.

* Lithium exports hit $905 million, representing 15% of the sector's total, helped by the start-up of four lithium projects between 2024 and 2025. KEY QUOTE
